The European Climate Law is binding and is part of the Green Deal. The EU Climate Law falls under the Paris Agreement (2015) and includes the renewed European reduction targets for the period 2021-2050:

Note that environmental NGOs such as the Climate Action Network Europe states that we need to achieve -65% emission reduction by 2030 to keep warming well below 2°C. As a result, even the Green Deal perceived as climate ambitious with its -55% reduction target by 2030 does not suffice.
The European Green Deal and its respective Belgian targets have so far not been translated into regional targets. The proposal for the national burden sharing regulation has not yet been approved.
Note that we are in 2021, and that we have to reach targets in 2030, which have not yet been politically agreed upon.
